VAWQP Northwest Region

We are hosting collaborative meetings and creating resources for staff involved with the VAWQP Partner Organizations including:

• USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS)

• Vermont Association of Conservation Districts (VACD) alongside Vermont's Natural Resources Conservation Districts (NRCDs)

• Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets (VAAFM)

• US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS)

• University of Vermont Extension (UVM Extension)

• USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA)

• Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, Department of Environmental Conservation (VANR-DEC)

• Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP)

• Vermont Housing and Conservation Board (VHCB)

The goals of these meetings are to improve coordination between staff at different organizations, identify areas of strength and opportunity, and improve water quality on agricultural lands throughout the region.
