About the event
Join Franklin County NRCD for an event on stream stewardship! We will learn about how we can steward our streams to protect water quality, enhance wildlife habitat, promote flood resilience, and support recreation. We will also learn about Stream Wise, which offers free assessments for streamside landowners in the Lake Champlain basin and rewards healthy stream stewardship.
This event will include a free dinner (tacos!), a short presentation, and a demonstration Stream Wise assessment of the Fairfield Community Center property and adjacent Black Creek.
